        Our Purpose

        Picture
Since St. John's Lutheran Preschool opened in 1986 we have been encouraging the growth and development of young children in Lexington and surrounding communities.  Our mission is to nurture each child in body, mind and spirit.  We, at St. John's, consider each child a unique gift from God who cherishes them and has great plans for them.  It is our privilege to be given the opportunity to aid in the education of each boy and girl who becomes part of our preschool family.

St. John's Lutheran Preschool admits students of any race, religion, national and ethnic origin.

        Testimonials

        February 23rd 2012
St. John’s Preschool is a safe, loving place where my child learns and thrives. The teachers are skilled and caring. The facility is clean and pleasant and I especially appreciate that chapel is a part of my preschooler's curriculum. Hearing my child sing simple church songs and hymns lets me know that her faith is growing and I know St. John’s Preschool is instrumental in that. I am also thankful fro the director who is energetic and always looking for new ways to make a phenomenal experience even better for our precious little ones.

        Sincerely,
        Mary

“For if we want to have good and capable persons for both temporal and spiritual leadership, we must certainly spare no diligence, effort or cost in teaching and educating our children that they may be able to serve God and the world.”
